Finally, I feel some Latin culture emerging in my town. First, a woman named Erica Brown started the Hawaii Kai Spanish Conversation Club, which is a useful, laid back and fun way to meet hispanohablantes. Although she spoke little Spanish, she brought latinos and europeans together - mixing locals with native speakers creating the perfect environment for a Spanish language learner.
