You're Outta Sight

The crooners of Touch of Gold touched my heart with their sweet renditions of Motown hits by the Jackson 5 and Temptations. They performed at centerstage at the Ala Moana Center for the 4th of July.

I had the opportunity to work with them today - while managing backstage, they kept my ears constantly tuned in with their warm up exercises (I swear there was a moment where I felt my heart flutter). Michael, one of the lead singers then started humming a small verse from 98 Degree's "Invisible Man."

Why haven't I heard of them before? Are they a hidden local treasure waiting for their big break in mainstream Hawaii entertainment? They are more than just a cover singing group, they're BIG TIME entertainers.

I hope I get to work with them again.
