Lately, I've been treating myself to a few moments of relaxation and total nonsense. I've committed myself to Netflix (because I can watch as many Spanish language films as I want) and Las chicas de oro (Spain's version of The Golden Girls). Life right now is a breeze and full of virtual characters that keep me glued to the tube.

I've got some photos to share. I hope you will find them enjoyable. I was lucky enough to stop by the Hispanic Heritage Festival last month and I recently checked into Victoria Ward Center's Pablo McGinty's Mexican Cantina - a new joint that promises college kids satisfying deals on Taco Tuesdays. I was definitely not impressed. But I will give them another chance since my friend's fajitas were served cold and raw, drinks were not served and nobody knew the name of the live performer - who had the voice of an r&b version of Jason Mraz. Pablo McGinty's...I am praying you'll be great the second time around.
