First Friday festivities were in full swing last night! It's been months since my last visit to First Friday and it was refreshing to see new upcoming artists display and demonstrate their talents on the streets. LR caught up with local Waimanalo artist Patrick Ching (who I met years ago on a reporter assignment for Star Bulletin), who shared some of his secret plans for First Friday in September and FREE art classes for the public.
Lightwriting genius Cheyne Gallarde and his intern held a public photo shoot for anyone who was daring enough to pose for a unique take on photography. After doing some research on him, I discovered he specializes in vintage photography. His work is amazing. Muchas gracias for the insane photo Cheyne! We will see each other very soon.
