David vs. Goliath Poetry Slam event this Saturday

This SATURDAY, June 26th, all youth poets of Guam will be attending the David vs. Goliath POETRY SLAM. These top youth poets of the island will go head to head with their mentors, unleashing a whirlwind of social & personal concepts, letting others inside their minds.

What the HECK is Guam's youth so concerned about?

It kills me inside that I won't be able to attend (I will be visiting family in Saipan), but I encourage EVERYONE in Guam to support these young artists and listen to what they have to say. These talented individuals are the future and they will be representing their island at the 13th Annual Brave New Voices International Youth Poetry Festival in Los Angeles next month. The David vs. Goliath Poetry Slam was organized as a fundraiser to send the top five poets to the festival.
