My first meal out in Guam was at Caliente Mexican Taqueria. My mom and brother frequent this hard to find restaurant in Agaña/Hagatña. We ordered the taquitos as an appetizer, it came with the thickest guacamole - which was really good and tasty!
We got the enchiladas with arroz y frijoles. The enchiladas were a bit dry and cold on the inside so we had to mix it around with the enchilada sauce to heat up the rest of the dish.
Don't order the nachos with carnitas unless you have 3-5 other people to share it with. It comes with refried beans, cheese, carnitas and pico de gallo. I didn't really care for the onions inside.
This is how high the mountain of nachos was from the table. HUGE portions.
The overall service was great - the waitresses there are very friendly.
Prices are somewhat affordable. Definitely not the place to go for cheap and authentic Mexican food. But their happy hour specials looked pretty good - I might just go there for a drink or two.
