a lot has changed since my last posting.
i finished school. got my BA in Journalism & Spanish. laid off from one of the best jobs i've ever had. been unemployed for 1.5 months. found a mediocre writing job. got a business license. the best decision i've made so far in 2009 is...attend graduate school.
yes. i've gotten in. i'm almost done with my first semester of grad school, in spanish, that is. it's not so different from undergraduate school except i actually enjoy being there. i love my classes and classmates.
one thing that 2009 has given me is my freedom on the weekends! for 1 year straight, i didn't have a single free weekend. now i have functions, parties and all these fun little friend events that i couldn't attend in 2008. i'm finally getting my life back, but for a big price, i no longer have that job that gives me an adrenaline rush or funny coworkers.
i'm still on the lookout for other opportunities. hopefully i'll find a balance between blossoming social happiness and an exciting day at work .
