Portuguese Festa
Tomorrow we celebrate the Portuguese culture! The Hawaii Council on Portuguese Heritage is hosting a festival filled with sugary malasadas, cultural displays, music, dance and items imported from PORTUGAL! How exciting!
The event begins tomorrow at the McCoy Pavilion in Ala Moana Beach Park from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is a measly $3 and free for children under 10.
According to Metromix, "The festival will have local favorites such as codfish stew, vinha d’alhos pork, Portuguese bean soup, and of course, fresh, hot malasadas." It sounds amazing to me. Miss LR will be there to get some photos of all that yummy food and festivities!
